(SCOTTSDALE, AZ)– Davidson is pleased to announce its participation in D-Wave’s Qubits 2025 user conference, taking place March 31–April 1, 2025, in Scottsdale, Arizona. Davidson’s President and CEO, Dale Moore, will be a featured panelist, sharing insights on operational quantum computing in mission-critical environments. Qubits is D-Wave’s annual gathering of the global quantum computing community, and this year’s event will spotlight real-world quantum applications in industry and the public sector.
In its 11th iteration, Qubits 2025 is expected to bring together industry, academic, government, and research leaders to share progress in practical quantum computing. Davidson will leverage this forum to demonstrate its thought leadership and commitment to operational quantum solutions for national defense. For attendees, it’s an opportunity to hear directly from pioneers who are bridging quantum technology with real-world applications.
Moore will contribute to 2 prominent panel discussions at Qubits 2025:

• Quantum in the Public Sector – Panel Discussion – Moderated by Allison Schwartz (D-Wave’s Global Government Relations & Public Affairs Leader), this panel will explore the real-world impact of quantum computing in government and defense. Panelists include Samuel Dent (Research Mathematician, U.S. Army ERDC), Dale Moore (President & CEO, Davidson), and Aleksandar Davidov (Data Scientist, Ruter – Oslo, Norway).

• Quantum Infrastructure – Panel Discussion – Moderated by Peter Rutten (Research VP, Performance Intensive Computing, IDC), this discussion will focus on building and integrating quantum computing infrastructure. Panelists include Dale Moore (Davidson), Kristel Michielsen (Head of Quantum Information Processing, Jülich Supercomputing Centre), and Federico Spedalieri (Managing Director, Quantum Initiative, USC Information Sciences Institute).
Leading Quantum Innovation in Defense and Public Sector
Dale Moore brings a mission-focused perspective to Qubits, grounded in Davidson’s commitment to exploring the real-world potential of quantum computing for defense and public sector innovation. As we continue to build momentum in this emerging space, events like Qubits provide an important platform to share our goals, engage with peers, and contribute to shaping how quantum might support critical national security challenges.
From optimizing logistics and supply chain decisions to enabling smarter autonomous systems and enhancing AI integration, quantum technology holds promise to address some of the most complex challenges facing the defense community. Davidson is actively positioning itself to help bridge that gap—from research to operational relevance.
Pioneering Quantum Infrastructure and Ecosystem Collaboration
The Quantum Infrastructure panel at Qubits 2025 will highlight what it takes to build and sustain the ecosystem needed for quantum computing at scale. Dale Moore’s inclusion on this panel reflects Davidson’s commitment to not only use quantum technology but also help shape its supporting infrastructure.
Davidson is among some of the first companies to invest in on-premise quantum computing hardware—for example, the upcoming installation of a D-Wave Advantage™ 2 quantum computer at its Huntsville headquarters.
In the panel discussion, Moore and his fellow experts from academia and industry will discuss how to integrate quantum computers with classical systems and how to make quantum technology accessible for solving real problems.
Connect with Team Davidson at Qubits
In addition to Dale Moore, Jim Parys, Davidson’s Senior Vice President of Growth & Strategy, and Patrick Gemperline, Ph.D., Davidson’s Quantum Computing Engineer, will also attend Qubits 2025. Together, they represent Davidson’s cross-functional commitment to advancing quantum adoption—from executive strategy to hands-on technical application.
If you’ll be attending and are interested in meeting with the Davidson team, we welcome the opportunity to connect. Whether you’re a fellow early adopter, a defense partner, or simply curious about where quantum technology is heading, we look forward to the conversation. We hope to see you in Scottsdale as we continue down our road to quantum.
